Emma Stone: Steal Her Style

If I could have one celebrities closet it would be Emma Stone. Her impeccable style makes casual clothing look put together and effortless at that; her style is laid back yet chic. I cannot say enough about her outfits because they are SO perfectly awesome!! And lucky for us non-celebrities, she makes recreating her wardrobe really simple (which makes me even more excited!!!)

Here's my take on how to get Emma Stone's look for less:

Look #1.) First off, airport chic, HELLO! To start off this look begin with a black jacket (Yard Sale, $0.25). Add a gray shirt (Charity Shop, $1.00) underneath and pair that with dark wash skinny jeans (Gordmans, $12.99). Throw on a pair of black flats and you're golden!
Total: $14.25

Look #2.) As seen in the picture above, take a white long sleeve shirt (Old Navy, $3.99) and pair that with some tattered jeans (Old Navy, $9.99), light wash. Black boots (Online, $4.00) and a mauve colored scarf (Yard Sale, $1.00) will do the trick -- you've got yourself lookin' like Emma herself!
Total: $19.00

Look #3.) For this final look you're going to need a navy blue pea coat (Online, $5.00). A pair of skinny jeans (Gordmans, $12.99), tan booties (Gift) and a blue scarf (Yard Sale, $0.25) will finish look.  Feel free to accessorize to your liking, though, keep it simple if you want to dupe Emma's look!

DIY Sweater Updates

 Layered Look.

  Supplies:
Black Sweater
Plaid Button Up

Begin by removing the collar, bottom hem and cuffs
(4 inches from bottom of sleeve) from the plaid shirt.

Make sure to add a 1/2 inch to 1 inch  for seam allowance.

Sew all items onto black sweater as shown below (fabric glue could work too, just be careful when washing!). And you're all finished!

Reversed and Refurbished.

Supplies:
Black Sweater
Cardigan

For this diy start with the cardigan open like shown above. Leaving the top 2 buttons buttoned,  remove the remaining buttons found on the cardigan. Finally, take your sweater and cut a triangle shape to fit the open part of your cardigan.
Add a 1/2 inch to 1 inch for seam allowance.
Sew together (fabric glue could work too, just be careful when washing!). Here's the finished product!

Once a cardigan, now a cute, renovated sweater!
The back is flirty, yet work appropriate!

3 Easy DIY Scarves

 Supplies Needed:
Scarves
Yarn
Needle (Optional)
Acrylic Paint
Paint Brush
Glue Gun
Pom Pom Ribbon

 Scarf #1.)
I took a gray circle scarf I got from Old Navy ($1.00) and embellished (fancy word for hot gluing) it with pom pom ribbon I found at Michaels ($1.39). This is a tedious process but in the end it's worth it. So Cute!

 Scarf #2.)
This cream colored scarf, found at a charity shop ($0.25), was in need of a serious upgrade. Adding a whimsical print like the hearts, via red acrylic paint, is just what it needed. I free handed mine, but feel free to use a stencil for the perfect heart. Also, this could be really sweet for the upcoming holiday (hint, hint)!

 Scarf #3.)
Animal print is a trend that will forever be in style. However, this Old Navy ($1.00) circle scarf just wasn't doing anything for me. Cut in half and enhanced with fringe, this scarf is now worth every penny! Here's a tutorial on how to revamp a drab scarf to fab, in minutes, so easy!

Reese Witherspoon: Steal Her Style

Look #1.) This is a perfect outfit if you want to be stylish but warm during the winter months. To replicate Reese's look, I started with a black cropped neck long sleeve shirt (Charity Shop, $2.00). To finish this look, I pulled out my favorite pair of skinny jeans (Gordmans, $12.99) and black ballerina flats (Goodwill, $3.99).
Total: $19.00

Look #2.) Preppy, pink and perfect! For Reese's outfit I used a pink sweatshirt (Charity Shop, $1.00) I had in my closet and layered this over a collared shirt (Charity Shop, $1.00). Put on my pair of dark wash jeans (Gordmans, $12.99) and added leopard print flats (Gift).
Total: $15.00

Look #3.) For this final look, comfort is a necessity! I began with a gray sweater (unknown) , a pair of dark wash jeans (Gordmans, $12.99) and riding boots (Payless, $13.99). To add a bit of interest, I threw on a navy colored scarf (Goodwill, $1.00) and you're set!
